Perform this trick for a friend

The trick:
In your own words, explain:
"This is one of the first demonstrations of computerized mind reading. Electromagnetic energy from the computer monitor senses and interprets your brain waves. Your thoughts are displayed directly on the screen! Caution: This technology is still under development. To function properly, the demonstration requires the combined mental energy of at least two people."
Have your friend write down the name of any month on a slip of paper and show it to you. Explain:
"To ensure the test is valid, do not say the month out loud and keep the paper out of view of the screen!"
Concentrate together. Click the mouse once - and that month will appear on the screen!

Example:
If the person writes May. May is the fifth month of the year. Click on the fifth letter from the left, which is "K". The May page will display.
